NEW YORK — Raúl de Molina, the Emmy-winning co-host of Univision's top-rated Latin entertainment news program "El Gordo y La Flaca," spoke with the NY Post about the Hustler Video and Dulce Media spoof "El Gordo y La Flaca XXX: Una Parodia Porno."
Molina told Page Six that he had heard about the parody six months ago when it was going into production, and that he was "delighted" with the news. "It shows we are popular," he said. "How many people can say they had a porn movie made of their lives?”
Molina also said that Univision was not happy about the spoof when it was announced, but came around once the DVD was released in February.
"At first [Univision] told us not to talk about it. But now that the film is out, they had me invite the female stars of the film on the show," Molina said. "I have the DVD, and on the cover is a guy who looks like me. He’s a little skinnier, though. I haven’t watched the film yet. But they tell me my character mostly watches the action ... which is a little disappointing.”
