The two ex-porners were found guilty of bringing illegal immigrants from Hungary to work in Italy, where they performed live sex acts on themselves and with clients. Schicchi's lawyer Antonio Cardamone said his client would appeal the court’s ruling within 90 days.
The Hungarian-born Henger won her beauty pageant crown at age 17 and soon thereafter moved to Italy where she met Schicchi, whom she later married. The couple has two children.
While Henger only starred in few adult films like “Sins of the Throat” and “Anal Delights,” she achieved mainstream exposure by hosting her own talkshow on national Italian TV channel RAI UNO. Henger also had a small role in the Martin Scorcese film “Gangs of New York” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz.
“In [Gangs of New York] I play a madam,” Henger told Maxim magazine. “They wanted someone who could play this role that involved a lot of nudity. And I said, ‘I want to do it. I don’t really have a problem playing erotic parts.’”
Schicchi has produced and directed many erotic movies and is credited with discovering Ilona Staller who went by the name Cicciolina when making adult films. Staller was elected to the Italian Parliament in 1987 representing the Lazio district in Rome.
