NEW YORK — Fetish star Julie Simone has racked up five nominations for the 2012 Good for Her Feminist Porn Awards to be held in Toronto, beginning April 18.
Simone is honored for her films “Babes in Bondage 4,” “Julie Simone Is a Dominatrix,” “Submissive Slut,” “Vicious Strap On Bitches” and for her pay website, JulieSimone.com.
The fetish star was previously awarded an honorable mention in 2010 for her short film and pro-blowjob PSA "Cocksucker."
“It's nice to see femdom as a genre finally being accepted as ‘sex positive,' a legitimate sexual fantasy and fetish vs. gender revenge,” Simone said.
She added, "Last year they passed me over, so it's vindicating to come back this year with a bang."
Simone will be on hand at the Feminist Porn Awards that run through April 20. She will also be appearing at Miss Rubber World in New York City on March 24 where she'll be on the catwalk for KLAWTEX and performing with contestant Lydia Lael of Vengeance Designs.
In addtion to her personal apearances, Simone is currently filming “Dominatrix Diaries,” a reality web series airing on Blip TV that features stories of first-time clients and professional Dominatrices, set to debut on July 9.
