PHOENIX — Meghan McCain, daughter of former Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, is declaring her love for sex and men in the April issue of Playboy magazine. The outspoken 27-year-old blogger eagerly dispels gay rumors by declaring herself “strictly dickly.”
McCain, a spokesperson for NOH8, a photo campaign created by fashion photographer Adam Bouska to protest California’s controversial Proposition 8 amendment, told Playboy that she “had been hit on by women” many times before, but that she preferred the high hard-one.
“I'd be the first person to tell the world I was gay: I'm not private about anything,” McCain said. “I think you should live how you should live. But I'm strictly dickly. I can't help it. I love sex and I love men.”
McCain loves men so much she doesn’t even mind if they’re overweight and hairy, so long as they have a sense of humor. She said, “If he can make me laugh, I don't care if he looks like Zach Galifianakis; it's an instant turn-on."
McCain, a self-described Republican with liberal social views, runs and writes the blog McCainBlogette.com. She has also written for The Daily Beast and MSNBC. In 2008, she published an illustrated children’s book about her father titled “My Dad John McCain.”
