LAS VEGAS — The Playboy Club at The Palms in Las Vegas will close in June, according to local ABC affiliate channel 13, which cited a spokesperson for the hotel.
“After a strong six-year run, the Palms Casino Resort and Playboy Enterprises will end their partnership in early June and each pursue new brand opportunities in Las Vegas nightlife," PR Director Larry Fink said in a statement. "The Palms and Playboy Enterprises have shared a great relationship and wish each other future success.”
The Playboy Club at The Palms — with its very noticeable neon bunny head, has casinos, bars, and a restroom with pictures of Playmates — has been operating inside the hotel's Fantasy Tower since 2006.
The club, in a recent report, was said to bring in $10 million to $15 million in revenue annually.
Playboy Enterprises has not announced plans to open a new establishment elsewhere in Las Vegas. Playboy did not respond to XBIZ queries by post time.
