ALAMEDA, Calif. — Don’t be surprised if Alameda County Supervisor Nadia Lockyer is soon fielding job offers from Vivid and LFP Video. Rumors of a sex tape featuring the 40-year-old wife of California State Treasurer Bill Lockyer and the man alleged to have beaten her in a Newark, Calif. hotel on Feb. 3 have been made public.
Nadia Lockyer first made headlines this month when she admitted to an affair with Stephan Chikhani, a 35-year-old San Jose construction worker she met at a drug rehabilitation center in 2010, the same year she was elected to the Alameda County board.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Bill Lockyer received the sex tape from Chikhani six weeks prior to the hotel incident and was afraid that Chikhani would go public with the tape if forced to end his relationship with Nadia Lockyer.
Bill Lockyer contacted family friend and Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O'Malley in an effort to acquire a restraining order against Chikhani, whom he alleged was stalking his wife.
O’Malley’s investigation soon revealed, however, that Nadia Lockyer had maintained a consensual relationship with Chikhani, and that the two had shared intimate text messages and explicit photos. The findings were later handed over to the state attorney general after the couple’s altercation at the Homewood Suites in Newark.
Chikhani, who denies assaulting Nadia Lockyer, claiming self defense after she allegedly attacked him while enraged over his relationship with another woman, has not been charge in the incident. Nadia Lockyer is currently back in rehab.
