LOS ANGELES — Marston Hefner, the 21-year old son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner was arrested last night in Pasadena on suspicion of domestic violence against 2011 Playmate of the Year, Claire Sinclair.
Sinclair reportedly suffered minor injuries and Hefner was taken into custody without incident.
Hugh Hefner's oldest son admitted to an argument, but not to hitting Sinclair.
PerezHilton however reported that a Sinclair family member called the cops and saw bruises and red marks on her body.
But the Playmate had a more violent account and said Hefner punched her, kicked her in the stomach and refused to let her leave their home. She had to call her family so the police would come.
Hefner was charged with battery on a spouse (although the couple is not married, under state law a spouse can be a cohabitant).
He was released this morning on $20,000 bond.
Sinclair reportedly tweeted a photo of her attending a Grammy-themed fundraiser at the Playboy Mansion with Hugh Hefner and several other Playmates. The younger Hefner was not in the photo.
In it, she wrote: "Had so much fun with you guys xoxoRT @hughhefner."
The Playmate admitted last year that her relationship with Hefner was "tumultuous."
No court date for Hefner has been set.
