LOS ANGELES — Award-winning director Brad Armstrong has begun principal photography on his latest creation, "Men in Black: A Hardcore Parody," for Wicked Pictures.
Armstrong made a significant splash with his first parody effort, 2011's smash hit ""he Rocki Whore Picture Show: A Hardcore Parody," which won Best Art Direction at the 2012 XBIZ Awards.
Now Armstrong is already moving forward with his next big-budget sci-fi spoof, which Wicked indicated will be a special effects laden production that will unfold at locations in and around Los Angeles.
Armstrong’s newest project has already attracted some noteworthy talent, including retired adult film star Randy Spears. The gifted actor is returning to the X-rated screen as a gruff, no-nonsense ramrod-straight alien tracker.
Of the exciting casting news, Armstrong said, "It's a great role and so crucial to the story that I didn't want to make it a non-sex part. I'm very happy that Randy is returning to the business just for this performance — I really feel he'll be a perfect fit.”
Spears' younger, gender-hopping sidekick will be played gifted industry actor Ethan Hunt. In an interesting casting twist, Urban X Award-winning actress Misty Stone will play be playing the same character in scenes where the hyperactive agent is disguised as a female.
In other casting news, Wicked Girl Alektra Blue has been cast as a shape-shifting alien queen, while multi-award-winning Wicked star Jessica Drake will be portraying a gorgeous alien villain.
And speaking of aliens, Wicked Girl Kaylani Lei will be slipping into the sexy tunic of an intergalactic ambassador. For the gruff head of the covert alien-trackers, Armstrong is enlisting the services of parody regular James Bartholet. In total, the director will be employing a cast of 40 humans and aliens in his latest super-production; other performers confirmed to be appearing include India Summer, Isis Taylor, Tommy Pistol, Wolf Hudson and Xander Corvus.
Summer is the 2012 XBIZ MILF Performer of the Year; Pistol is the 2012 XBIZ Acting Performance of the Year winner; and Corvus is the 2012 XBIZ Newcomer of the Year as well as the winner of Supporting Acting Performance of the Year.
And director Armstrong will be taking on a role himself, rounding out a stacked cast that also includes Mia Lelani, Nicole Aniston, Prince Yahshua and more.
The special effects required to create the movie's extraterrestrial characters are presenting the filmmaker with some unique — and expensive — production challenges. "To create our aliens, we're working exclusively with mainstream special effects artists," Armstrong said. "Some of them are people I've collaborated with before on my earlier science fiction projects like Euphoria, while some are brand new to me."
At post time, Armstrong was supervising the intricate work of several different special effects departments.
"Men In Black: A Hardcore Parody" is shooting now, with major filming continuing for several days.
The film will include a 10-person orgy, a regular occurrence in big Armstrong movies.
"I worked harder on 'The Rocki Whore Picture Show' than I have on any other picture to date, and 'Men In Black' is going to be even more challenging," Armstrong said. "But I know we have the cast, crew and resources needed to make the best film possible."
