“This is gaining momentum,” FSC Communications Director Tom Hymes told XBIZ. “We’re really happy about this. And you know HotMovies.com is doing the lion’s share of all the work. They’ve worked tirelessly over the past several months to solicit the participation of companies in this important event.”
HotMovies has designated one day — Tuesday, April 18 — during which participating studios will donate their HotMovies.com profits to the FSC. HotMovies, which has set up a special theater for the event, will match the money raised that day.
Some of the participating studios include: Red Light District and Platinum X, Elegant Angel, Matrix, Abby Winters, ErosArts, Glamorous Productions, LILYJAKE, VirtuCon, TS/TV Films, Dear Lorenzo, Platinum Pictures, CNE Media, Sunshyne Video, EroticaFirst, Hot Desert Knights, BDP Productions, Digital Ventures, Bordellonoir, Creative Endeavors, Spungy Gunk, T&A, Daddy Ohhh!, Hapkido/ThaiTwink, Channel 69 (NG Video), Anastasia Pierce, 1151611 Onatrio Inc., AV Box, Bacchus, Filmco, Totally Tasteless Video, UVC/Heatwave, Third World Video, Butterfly Princess, TACCAT Home Services, In Hand Productions, AVNS, Asphyxiation Ltd., Vagabond Entertainment, Trashy Entertainment, West Coast Productions and Pleasure Productions studios’ Simon Wolf and Rosebud.
Hymes noted that the FSC has spent nearly $250,000 in litigating over its battle against the Justice Department stemming from new federal labeling and record-keeping regulations targeting the adult industry.
