Center for Sex & Culture to Host Memorial Gathering for John Leslie

LOS ANGELES — Katheen Nuzzo, the widow of adult film great John Leslie, and his longtime colleague Richard Pacheco will hold a memorial gathering at 5:30 p.m. this Sunday at the Center for Sex & Culture in San Francisco.

The gathering will be held at 1349 Mission near 10th. For more information, contact Carol Queen at Carol@sexandculture.org.

Leslie passed away in December 2010 after an illustrious 35-year career in front of and behind the camera.

Friends and colleagues of Leslie will join the Sex & Culture community around the anniversary of his birthday to remember a life that changed erotic imagery as much as any other porn star of the Golden Age or beyond.

Leslie's life will be commemorated with film clips and a memory circle starring his friends, colleagues and fans. There is no charge to attend, however donations to CSC will be gratefully accepted. Refreshments will be provided and attendees may bring something to share if they are so moved.
