WATERLOO, Ontario — Coquette has completed photo shoots for its Kissable Collection and Darque Collection, which will officially launch at the International Lingerie Show in March.
For this year’s edition of Coquette’s boxed Kissable Collection of one-size pieces, including babydolls and role-play outfits that are made with stretchy lace and lycra mixes, the designers extended the collection to include more role-play costumes and holiday-themed pieces, the company said.
To enhance the look models’ hair and makeup were kept soft and clean to maintain the cute, playful image that the collection is known for, the company said.
“Shooting our Kissable line is always enjoyable, it’s fun, flirty and sexy,” said creative director Cindy Cipriano. “We work with models that embody the spirit of this collection and know exactly what we are looking to achieve, so we are able to get perfect shot.”
For the Darque Collection’s shoot, models’ hair and makeup were styled avant-garde with big teased curls, smoky cat eyes and candy apple red lips. According to the company, the Darque Collection of fetish-inspired looks was shot on a red background to achieve an edgy, high-fashion image that boasts of dramatic lighting and angles.
“We wanted to take chances and expand our look from what we have had in the past,” Cipriano said. “Our models have a different look than what we typically go for and have an extreme high-fashion appeal that we expect will revamp and coincide with our company’s rebranding strategy.”
