LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection announced CyberStampede’s Rodney Thompson as the winner of its annual Service Recognition Award for 2012.
ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning presented the crystal award to Thompson at the XBIZ Awards, which took place on Jan. 10.
“Rodney has been a faithful supporter of ASACP’s ongoing efforts to keep children out of and away from age-restricted materials,” Henning stated. “His dedication epitomizes the care and concern shown for our mission by the Internet community at large.”
“I am extremely honored and thankful to be recognized by ASACP with this award,” Thompson said. “Our team has respected the work of ASACP and its efforts to protect kids online for many years.”
“Cyber Stampede Inc. specializes in search engine marketing which reaches a broad global audience,” Thompson continued. “As parents ourselves, it was evident from the start that working with ASACP as an active partner was just plain good business and consistent with our company philosophy.”
