Wasteland Studios Wins AEBN's Best BDSM Movie Award

NEW HAMPSHIRE — BDSM web and mobile site Wasteland.com has taken home an AEBN Award for Best BDSM Movie for its “Punishment Inc.” series.

AEBN began keeping track of the most popular films and the stars of the year starting in 2006.  AEBN studies the viewing habits of the millions who visit the company's network of VOD theaters.  The winners have become recognized with their own VOD Awards.

"Wasteland has worked closely with AEBN since the early days of the adult online industry and we are delighted to get this award for our ‘Punishments, Inc.’ BDSM series,” said Colin Rowntree, founder and CEO of Wasteland.

“What makes it even sweeter is that this is a people's choice type award based on how many AEBN customers are buying and watching this unique, high end film we shot last year.  It's truly wonderful to see consumers paying for adult content in this day and age."

Released in February of 2011, “Punishment Inc." stars Adrianna Nicole, Keni Styles, Victoria White, Ally Kay and Tony De Sergio.

“We have worked with Wasteland studios for many years and I'm glad that we can recognize them in this way," said Jerry Anders, AEBN's vice president sales and marketing.

"Our VOD customers have spoken and what they've said is that the ‘Punishment Inc.” series is the Best BDSM title of the year. Wasteland certainly deserves the honor."

Wasteland.com has been featured by HBO, Wired and the BBC, and has won dozens of industry awards. Wasteland's sister site, Sssh.com, presents erotica for women and couples from a woman’s point of view, and has been featured in Time Magazine, Newsweek and the recently published book, "A Billion Wicked Thoughts."
