Kulkis and Kane will debate the merits of adult entertainment as part of the show’s “Soapbox” segment, which makes its debut on the episode.
“I was honored to be asked on Henry’s show, since he’s been such a rabid free speech advocate throughout the years,” Kulkis said. “Ironically, I’ve often been referred to as ‘the Henry Rollins of porn’ because of my physique.”
Kulkis has been at the forefront of the “mainstreaming” of adult entertainment, making frequent appearances on cable news shows and Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.”
He was recently interviewed by the LA Times regarding his 2004 promotional campaign that centered around Mary Carey, then under contract to Kick Ass, running for governor of California and attending a presidential dinner.
Kane, who operates KlubKimberlyKane.com, also has garnered mainstream press commenting on the industry. Her new DVD line, “Naked & Famous,” debuts on Pulse Pictures May 8.
