COLT to Beta Test New Webmaster Program

SAN FRANCISCO — COLT Studio Group is bringing its COLT Corners retail concept, which centered around kiosks featuring various COLT-branded merchandise, to the Internet.

Called the COLT Corner Cash Program, it enables webmaster to promote COLT products and earn revenue in two ways. They can either refer site visitors to COLT’s website through banner clicks or go a step further by setting up a COLT retail area on their websites.

Since payouts will be based on a percentage of sales, the more involved a webmaster is in the program, the more potential he has to profit, according to COLT President and Creative Director John Rutherford.

“It will depend on how much [webmasters] want to invest in the COLT Corner program,” Rutherford told XBIZ, “but we will encourage webmasters to have full COLT Corners with the usage of our well-established images they can easily access through the COLTcorner.com website.”

Rutherford said the company began beta testing the program this week on its COLT and Buckshot Men websites: ChrisWide.com, CarloMasi.com, GageWeston.com, LukeGarrett.net and BradPatton.net. The company also has asked five other COLT Cash affiliates to sign up.

Once the program is up and running, webmasters will be able to opt in through a dedicated site. COLT will supply them with banners and additional creative elements so that webmasters can mimic the look of the COLTstudiostore.com site.
