Videobox Grabs XBIZ Adult Site of the Year Award Nomination

SAN FRANCISCO — Videobox has been nominated for Adult Site of the Year at the 2012 XBIZ Awards.

The company said this has been a significant year for the adult site with the launch of VB3, the newest version of Videobox, featuring an improved user interface to showcase the site's library of 70,000 scenes and 12,000 DVDs from various studios.

Videobox has also added true HD content to its daily updates, as well as new premium channels from Vivid, Evil Angel and Kink.

In addition to the launch of VB3, Videobox also introduced an app on the popular Roku platform, which gives users with a Roku box the ability to stream the entire videobox library to their television. Videobox last month launched its Videobox Mobile, the company’s new mobile site for the iPhone and Android platforms.

“We’ve always strived to be innovators when it comes to delivering the best possible user experience for our members, and it is a true honor to be nominated in such a distinguished category,” said Phil Chen, content licensing manager at Videobox.

The 2012 XBIZ Awards show, presented by MyFreeCams.com, is scheduled to take place Jan. 10.
