GirlzPorn Earns XBIZ Award Nomination for Specialty Site of the Year

TORONTO — GirlzPorn has been nominated for Specialty/Alternative Site of the Year at the 2012 XBIZ Awards.

Launched in 2011by Inlyte Corporation, GirlzPorn is an online community dedicated to the sensual pleasure, sexual education and erotic curiosities of its female users.

“With the myriad content rolling out of the Hollywood porn empire it is refreshing to see a website showcasing the kind of porn women want to watch — artistic, alternative, empowering and enlightening,” said Alison Lee, organizer of the Feminist Porn Awards (2007-2011).

The company said the XBIZ Awards will be an opportunity to showcase the launch of GirlzPorn to industry insiders.

GirlzPorn features include Girlzblog and the Word, featuring articles, interviews, movie and product reviews and posts from bloggers and pornoscopes.

The Guidance section offers advice and gives visitors the opportunity to ask questions of sexpert Jaiya.

The Watch Porn tab offers three options: The Premium Collection, which includes films by Erika Lust and Kimberley Kane; the DVDs of the Month and the Pay-Per-View section.

Under GpTV visitors can upload videos from around the world that focus on women and porn, including interviews, documentaries, sex toy reviews and movie trailers.

The 2012 XBIZ Awards show, presented by MyFreeCams.com, is scheduled to take place Jan. 10.
