GameLink Donates to Men's Health Movement

SAN FRANCISCO — Online adult store GameLink.com is donating to Movember, a mustache-growing movement that raises awareness and funds for men’s health.

The GameLink staff, led by Private Media and GameLink.com director of sales Jeff Dillon and online sales representative Jarrott Mitchell, is donating its time and upper lips for the movement.

"I joined the Movember movement and am donating my upper lip to the cause for 30 days,” Dillon said. “This is my first ever attempt to grow a moustache. My moustache (Mo) will spark conversations, and no doubt generate some laughs, all in the name of raising vital awareness and funds for cancers affecting men.

"This touches me personally, as my Uncle Roy, who has been a father figure in my life, is battling prostate cancer. We only have a month to grow Mos and raise awareness and funds, so please donate and join GameLink today.”

Movember aims to change the face of men’s health by putting a fun twist on this issue. Using the moustache as a catalyst, the movement wants to bring about change and give men the opportunity and confidence to talk about their health more openly.

"The Movember movement not only raises awareness about prostate cancer and the importance of getting checked, but it’s a great reason to grow a porn stash," Mitchell said.

Movember aims to increase early detection, diagnosis and effective treatment in order to help reduce the number of deaths from cancer. Movember's primary campaign objective is to raise awareness of men's health issues, specifically cancer.

An online team was created to seek donations and encourage other individuals to join the cause.
