MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin teachers who use school district computers to surf for porn will lose their licenses.
The Associated Press reported that the state Assembly passed the bill that states educators who view or download X-rated materials are committing immoral conduct offenses.
Immoral actions are defined as conduct that is contrary to commonly accepted moral or ethical standards and that endangers the health, safety, welfare, or education of any student.
Under the measure, the state Department of Public Instruction is instructed to post the name of the license holder under investigation on its website and any results of the inquiry.
Next stop is Governor Scott Walker's office for his signature.
