The move, which covers nearly 1,500 Legend titles, grants WWC exclusive rights to license those titles for the web. For WWC, volume and quality were key factors in the decision to sign Legend.
“1,500 titles is a huge amount,” CEO Raffi Vartanian told XBiz. “But Legend also makes quality content, and they work well with us. This partnership allows us to deliver an even broader variety of content choices to our clients.”
Legend co-owner Bruce Mendelson agreed that the two companies were a good fit.
“We wanted to enter into a relationship with a solid, well-organized company that could deliver our products to webmasters,” he said. “WWC was the logical choice.”
WWC will offer each title in multiple formats along with high-resolution photos that correspond to each title.
