Adult Game Maker ThriXXX Says Code Was Poached

DALLAS — Adult entertainment game maker ThriXXX today sued the operators of GameFront.com, claiming it has distributed gaming software that contains up to 2 million lines of poached code.

ThriXXX Software GmbH of Innsbrook, Austria, markets "3D SexVilla" and enjoys a substantial market presence in the U.S.

The company also named an unnamed John Doe programmer who resides in Italy to the suit. GameFront, along with Doe, has distributed "The Klub 17, including two updates, the suit said.

"All versions of 'The Klub 17' result from copying  and  replicating  without  permission  the  program  lines  developed  by  ThriXXX for  its gaming software," the complaint said.

GameFront, a mainstream entertainment company, has one of the largest PC gaming file collections. The site has operated since 2001.

ThriXXX.com also has been available since 2001, and offers an array of sites besides "3D SexVilla," including  "Hentai 3D 2," "Festish 3D" and "3D Gay Villa 2."

The copyright infringment suit, filed at U.S. District Court in Dallas, seeks an injunction, as well as damages.
