CHICAGO — Ranowear, parent company of online retailer BlakeLogan.com, announced its support for the Muscular Dystrophy Fundraiser.
In cooperation with social networking site Utherverse, the women’s apparel and gift company provided talent and financial contributions to the fundraiser, held on the premises of social networking website Red Light Center.
Ranowear donated money and encouraged its employees and contractors to help raise funds.
“RLC is involved with MDA because of MistessKelly,” event organizer Holly K Cuga said. “She came up with the idea of doing something that went along with the telethon. She grew up watching the telethon all weekend with her grandmother. She went to RLC with her proposal and was given support and authorization from RLC to make it a world event.”
The final amount raised for MDA was just over $3,000.
“When Blake Logan told our office that Red Light Center members had solicited her and our help in fighting Muscular Dystrophy, there was only one thing we could answer,” said Willis Domingo, Ranowear president and CEO.
“What can we do to help? Ranowear and Blake Logan are proud to have played a small role in this worthwhile event and proud of the individuals and organizations who made it a success.”
