MIAMI — Baci Lingerie, announced today that it has officially terminated its exclusive distribution agreement with Avelli, Inc. for distribution in the U.S.
In a press release, Baci Lingerie cites an alleged breach of contract and unethical business practices, and said that the two companies have agreed to a Termination and Settlement Agreement that effectively terminated Avelli exclusive distribution agreement and rights under Baci Lingerie for the U.S.
Baci Lingerie will no longer supply or ship any products to the former partner and will transition operation in the U.S. to the largest distributor who has the logistical capabilities and infrastructure to deliver Baci Lingerie in the proper manner, the company said.
“We are extremely disappointed in the termination of our former partner in the USA but at the heart of every partnership there must lay a fundamental trust which was broken and damaged by Avelli, Inc. and we could no longer continue to do business with them,” Baci Lingerie Chief Operating Officer Robert Rosen said. “We will continue our pursuit of providing affordable luxury and plan to grow with our new partner. We have learned a great deal in the past 12 months and plan to use that experience to ensure that customers and retailers receive a smooth transition and the service they deserve.”
Baci Lingerie will debut and be taking orders for immediate shipment of its Black Label collection at the upcoming International Lingerie Show. The company also has introduced a new partner: Baci Lingerie Brand Owner USA.
Baci Lingerie Brand Owner USA will continue to sell the White Label collection and eyelash collection, as well as introduce Dreams by Baci Lingerie, which is a new bedroom costume collection.
Baci Lingerie Brand Owner USA is looking for outside sales reps and sales agents. To be considered, email Erik Alexander at ea@bacibrandusa.com.
