MONTREAL — NextDoorEntertainment.com organized a fundraiser during Chicago’s recent Northalsted Market Days, raising a total of $1,350 in donations to help support the Until There’s a Cure organization.
Next Door offered DVD gift bags to attendees in exchange for a donation to the charity. The company said the gift bags were a success and the inventory ran out half way through the weekend.
“We were really pleased to see the level of support for this worthwhile cause,” said Stephan Sirard, president of Next Door Entertainment.
“Participating in these community events and helping to raise the profile of the foundation and raise funds at the same time remains one of our key priorities. We are so grateful to all of those who turned out at Northalsted Market Days and supported this fund raiser and for their generous donations.”
Next Door exclusive models James Huntsman, Austin Wilde, Samuel O’Toole and Anthony Romero were on hand at Market Days and shared their common passion to encourage others to get tested and educate themselves on the risks of unsafe sexual practices.
“In partnership with, Until There's A Cure, it is our hope that through events like these and our studio commitment to testing and mandatory condom use that we will be able to make a difference,” Sirard said.
Until There's A Cure is a national organization dedicated to eradicating HIV/AIDS by raising awareness and funds to combat the pandemic.
