CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Smash Pictures will be celebrating Halloween this year by shooting its new horror parody, "An American Werewolf in London XXX" beginning in October.
Smash vice president Stuart Wall said casting for the spoof of the 1981 John Landis classic starts next month.
"We’re going to concentrate on the sexuality of the werewolf in turning this horror classic very erotic, and still include elements of gore," Wall said.
The film will be directed by veteran Jim Powers and is scheduled for a January, 2012 release.
