HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Director Will Ryder has wrapped principle production on the big budget classic TV spoof, “Beverly Hillbillies A XXX Parody.”
The X-Play/Adam & Eve Pictures film has begun “’round the clock post production” and is set for a late September release.
“We’re going old school again with this one,” said Ryder. “There are a lot of parody movies coming out lately that are science fiction and super hero in nature so we wanted to get back to our roots and deliver classic television with hardcore sex and a witty script for the people that want to see good old fashioned comedy. This movie will also appeal to multiple generations of fans that grew up with the show.”
The movie stars Kagney Linn Karter as Ellie Mae Clampett along with Dana DeArmond playing Miss Jane and Haley Hewes as Granny.
“Kagney really became Ellie Mae and you’ll be blown away by the accuracy of not only the way the cast looked in their costumes but by the story and how it really is like a sexed out version of the TV show,” said Scott David, co-producer of the movie.
Other female roles went to Taylor Vixen, Annie Cruz, Kaylee Hilton, Aubrey Addams, Courtney Page, Vickie Chase and Lucy Blaze. Male talent included Gary Lee, Otto Bauer, Giovanni Francesco, Ryan Driller, Eric John, James Bartholet and Tucker Slain.
Ryder said the companies spared no expense in the production and marketing materials, noting how the high-end box cover graphics recreated the feel of the iconic ‘60’s CBS TV show.
“We spent a lot of money to deliver a great product to the fans,” Ryder remarked. “I don’t think we’ve ever done a better job creating a spoof episode of an original TV show.”
Adam & Eve general manager Bob Christian added, “Wow, the box cover looks just like the TV show. I can’t wait to see this one when it gets completed.”
The producers said scenes for the movie were shot at a Beverly Hills mansion with a sprawling staircase, marble interiors and a bright blue “see-ment pond” just like the TV show. The film was also shot at the LFP soundstage where a backwoods shanty was constructed.
A 1926 Ford Model T Roadster ws also purchased from a farmer in Minnesota and converted into an exact replica of the Clampett’s truck, complete with rocking chair for Granny.
Karter commented, “It took four days to shoot this movie and I really think the producers nailed this one better than anything I’ve ever seen before. It was awesome just to be a part of it.”
