LAS VEGAS — HotVOD.com, ExciteVOD.com and Vodseeker.com have discontinued operations effective today.
The company operators said that while it has been a proponent for adult VOD since 2004, "the recent changes in adult industry conditions have made it impossible to remain viable."
HotVOD's Cary Suffian told XBIZ that all of the domains are now being forwarded to the Roxysblog.com forum-style website for two weeks to allow current customers to interface and access a thread that will help them ramp on to the National A-1 database (aka Hotmovies.com) site.
"There is a link there that will allow them to fulfill their remaining VOD minutes balance on Hotmovies.com. I have made this thread to help customers understand that these domains will no longer be available; henceforth, they can continue their relationship in this format with Hotmovies.com.
"In two weeks, you will notice these domains parked at SEDOs (domain auction) landing page, whereas, you will definitely see it has been shut down, and those landing pages indicate these domains are for sale," Suffian said.
Individuals who have any remaining minute balances may contact cary@hotvod.com to get re-direction links that will fulfill their original purchases and allow them to utilize their outstanding unused minutes.
The company reported that it appreciates all the recent bids that have been placed on the aforementioned domain properties, and that all inquires will be responded to as soon as possible.
