LOS ANGELES — A six-minute porn film that purportedly stars Marilyn Monroe will be offered at auction in Buenos Aires, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
At a starting price of $500,000, the film allegedly was shot prior to her mainstream stardom sometime between 1946 and 1947.
The black-and-white film was owned by a Spanish collector who recently passed away. According to promoter Mikal Barsa, the film is one of two known copies. (The other film was sold to a private collector for $1.2 million in 2001.)
Another film purportedly featuring Monroe surfaced in 2008 and was sold for $1.5 million to a New York business man. That 15-minute film is said to show Monroe performing oral sex on an unknown man.
The film will be the highlight of the inaugural Buenos Aires Film Collecting Fair, which will take place Aug. 6-7 at the Borges Cultural Centre.
