New U.S. Internet Payment Service Company Launches

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — Internet payment company 365 Billing officially launched Thursday, marking the latest entrant to the online billing industry. The company’s core focus is on billing support for online subscriptions and credit card, ACH, phone billing and SMS payment options.

Aside from multiple payment options, the new turnkey service includes fraud and risk management tools, affiliate software and customer contact services.

“This is a very important day for U.S.-based online merchants,” President Mark Smith said. “Having sound payment alternatives is important for the online subscription industry. But more important, we will give merchants better tools, better approval rates and better retention rates.”

Smith said those rates are achieved both by the company’s fraud management, as well as a host of marketing tools. Its “One-Click Upsell” feature, for example, lets subscribers convert trial memberships to full memberships at the click of a button, which can be embedded in a site’s trial area.

Additional services include the company’s “Cancel Keep” option, which automatically offers a subscriber bonus sites or discounted subscription rates if they try to cancel, as well as password management applications, affiliate trackers and access to a live contact center 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year.

“We have invested heavily to ensure at the end of the day our merchants are more successful because they use 365 Billing,” CEO John Duffy said. “We also will be launching similar services for European merchants within 30 days.”
