In association with American Restaurant Inc., the company is opening a gentlemen’s club on March 1 just off of Bourbon Street, replacing the former Gold Club Cabaret.
“Penthouse is proud to be playing even the slightest role in the post-Katrina resurgence of The Big Easy,” Penthouse Director of Global Club Licensing Jeff Stoller said.
While this is the first Penthouse licensing venture for American Restaurant Inc., Chief Operating Partner Mark Allen, is not a newcomer to the adult industry. He owns and operates two other Louisiana men’s establishments, one in Baton Rouge and one in Port Allen.
Allen said he believes the globally recognized Penthouse name will help the club stand out even in the adult-dominated, New Orleans market.
“After six months of 18-hour days, which included working [in] rescue missions and the gutting and remodeling of our 200-year-old building, we are bringing the French Quarter the highest level of Adult Entertainment,” Allen said. “The whole experience has proven to me that there really is a silver lining at the end of every storm.”
Penthouse is flying in four Pets to help celebrate the club’s grand opening. On hand will be Jamie Lynn, 2006 Penthouse Pet of the Year, along with Charlie Laine, Jennifer Emerson and Krista Ayne.
