HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Adam & Eve announced today that it has received two 2011 Telly Awards for its “40 Years of Adam & Eve” anniversary promotion.
The 32nd Annual Telly Awards honored the best in local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the best video and film productions, and work created for the web.
Adam & Eve took home both a Silver Award (for TV documentary) and a Bronze Award (for TV information) in the Film/Video categories.
The company competed with more than 11,000 entries, and joins winners Sony Pictures, Walt Disney Studios, E! Entertainment Television, Discovery and more.
“We are very pleased — especially as an adult company — to be recognized by the Telly Awards,” said Chad Davis, marketing director.
He added, “We put a lot of effort into our 40th anniversary promotion, and the telling of our story… and it is immensely gratifying for our hard work to be rewarded this way.”
The documentary-style, 15-minute DVD, which includes a 16-page press kit, details the history of Adam & Eve, its legal battles, and new business ventures it is pursuing. The promotion was created to gain mainstream media exposure.
