TORONTO —BMS Factory was given the Partners in Power Reduction award this week by energy supplier Hydro One Brampton for its commitment to energy conservation.
Hydro One Brampton posted a message on its website: “[BMS Factory has] been recognized as 'Partners' of Hydro One Brampton for their successes in reducing their electrical consumption, increasing their energy efficiency, and contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.”
According to the company, the award more specifically recognizes BMS’ reduction of power usage in its business practices at its main office.
“We are always striving to find ways to help the environment and conserve power,” BMS Factory owner and CEO Steve Bannister said. “We soon plan to install solar panels on our buildings allowing us to supply much needed energy back to the grid that provides our city with power.”
