Porn Guardian Eyes XBIZ Summit, Adds New Clients

NEW YORK — Porn Guardian, one of the industry's fastest growing anti-piracy companies, has been chosen to show its wares at the XBIZ Summit Chicago this weekend as part of the "3 Minute Show-Off" session.

In this session, innovative companies will compete for a $2,500 prize based on who's presentation wows the audience the most. Porn Guardian opened its doors only eight months ago and already boasts a client list of more than 250 online and DVD brands.

The success of the company can be attributed to several factors, including its detailed reporting interface, which it says has raised the bar in the industry. Clients get both high-level and detailed accounts of all piracy activities across their brands. The company said it is more than just a DMCA takedown service, however. It's proprietary system also identifies which members of their clients' sites were the original pirates of the content.

Co-owner Dominic Ford remarked, "Playing wack-a-mole is not enough to stop piracy. Our system lets our clients find out which of their member accounts are comprised, allowing them to stop piracy where it starts: on their sites."

Porn Guardian has been growing rapidly, expanding both its staff and its client base. The company employes more than 20 "harvesters" across 15 time-zones.

Recently added clients to the Porn Guardian suite of services include: Pink Visual, Grooby Productions, Next Door Entertainment, COLT Studio Group, Jet Set Men, Hot House Entertainment, Girls Do Porn, FreshSX Studios, Falcon Studios, Male Digital and Cocky Boy Productions.

Allison Vivas, president of Pink Visual, and known for her aggressive approach to piracy, said, "We have been happy to work PornGuardian services into our mix of anti-piracy efforts and strategies. The results and the data provided ensure that we not only have the mass amounts unauthorized content removed quickly, but also that we have the data to implement other anti-piracy strategies."

Co-owner Peter Phinney added, "We are excited that even companies who already use 3rd Party DMCA services or do a good job in-house are centralizing all their efforts on our platform, as it provides the most robust data and evidence packages available, and makes reporting links simple."

The company is currently proving evidence packages to top industry attorneys to assist them in their cases against file-sharing sites and pirates. Porn Guardian offers both fully staffed solution and a free "do it yourself" solution for smaller companies.
