Gamma Introduces Virtual Currency for Live Sites

MONTREAL — Gamma Entertainment on Monday introduced a new virtual currency across its live network.

The new "token" currency, Gamma officials say, is the latest in a series of "user experience" features implemented on Gamma’s live cam sites.

Gamma plans on rolling it out on  homeCams.com, PrivateFeeds.com and partner cam sites from Evil Angel, COLT Studio Group and Next Door Entertainment.

“The decision to add Tokens on our live sites stems directly from the members themselves.” said Karl Bernard, Gamma Entertainment's president.  “Over the past few months, we have worked together to implement their feedback and create a roadmap for our live sites that is truly dedicated to user experience.”

To announce the launch, Bernard sent a personalized email to each live member, thanking them for their collaboration and introducing additional improvements including a 20 percent reduction in average show rates and a more diverse model selection.

“Our model partners have been equally receptive to the new Tokens currency.” Says HomeCams director, Guillaume Boisvert.  “Models now have the ability to offer more competitive show rates, attract more paying clients, and gain a better understanding of how they generate their revenue.”

To compliment the switch to Tokens, model payouts through the homeCams Model Broadcasting Network have recently been increased to 40  percent base commissions on all model shows.

“Without giving away too much,” Boisvert said, “tokens will pave the way for a lot of exciting new features in the coming weeks.   We are very excited to see the positive effects for our members, models and affiliate partners.”
