Marquart, a tawny blonde from Florida who was a fixture on the Southern strip club circuit before she decided to take the plunge into adult entertainment, starred in more than 100 adult titles under the name “Farrah.” Her films include “American Girls 2” with Devon Michaels, “Fast and Female” with Jenna Haze and “Horny House Calls” with Ben English.
Police allege she used fake I.D.’s and forged checks to steal $48,000 from six New Jersey banks. The 30-year-old actress was scheduled for sentencing in late January for her crimes, but failed to show at her arraignment.
Last week she came up on the radar of police in Chatsworth when she was arrested for forging credit cards, as well as for methamphetamine possession.
Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, told XBiz they believe Marquart was affiliated with a sizeable forging operation. According to Gibbons, Marquart was allegedly working with Peter Julius Joseph and George Martinez Grafil, who were discovered by local police last week in possession of credit-card forging equipment during a hotel raid in Chatsworth.
“Those are the charges,” Gibbons said. “Her bail is currently set at $70,000. I can’t say anything more than that at this time.”
Marquart is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday. After she is arraigned, officials in New Jersey will have the option of bringing her back to face charges there.
The California charges alone could merit up to 16 months in prison, Gibbons said.
