CUPERTINO, Calif. — Apple is planning to revamp its software portfolio and introduce a new cloud offering.
The company will officially debut OS X 10.7 Lion, its next generation desktop/notebook operating system at the Wordwide Developers Conference June 6.
Industry experts say that Lion will offer new features including iOS staples like multi-touch gestures, auto saving for apps, full screen apps and a fully integrated app store, daily tech reports.
The company will also introduce iOS 5 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and the iCloud, Apple’s upcoming cloud service offering.
The conference will feature more than 100 technical sessions presented by Apple engineers. Developers will see and learn hoe to develop Mac OS X Lion applications using its latest technologies and learn how to enhance the functionality, performance and design of their apps.
