CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Smash Pictures is set to begin production on "Bridesmaids," a parody of the current hit movie.
The film will be directed by veteran Jim Powers.
Casting and auditions will start in the next two weeks with filming scheduled for July.
The company described the movie as six frustrated single women attending their best friend's wedding while seeking to land husbands of their own.
Smash vice president Stuart Wall told XBIZ, "Our rough script is already filled with non-stop laughs and witty sexual overtones that will turn this into a huge porn hit."
