LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. — A new copyright enforcement service has launched called PornoPolice.net.
The company said that it works with Google, Yahoo, Bing, Interpol and ICCAN to make sure they have established procedures for removing natural search results on the basis of a company's DMCA.
Its services include searching the Internet for porn artists and adult companies’ products and sending out DMCA, EUCD, OCILLA and WIPO takedown notices on their behalf.
“Our job is to do the worrying for you,” partner Jim Weiss said. “We get your products removed so you can get back to making money and not stress out.”
PornoPolice.net said it also will supply porn artists with the company names, links, and how many of their products are on that page, the ISP of the provider, their email address and any other contact information that may be available.
PornoPolice.net said it has a databases that scours the Internet looking for infringing sites and works in conjunction with the Business Action to Stop Counterfeiting and Piracy.
