HOLLYWOOD — Performer/producer Miko Lee has wrapped principal photography on "Forbitten Desires," the second installment of a vampire trilogy for Miko Lee Productions, her own production company started earlier this year.
In "Forbitten Desires," Lee reprises her role as Renata, the vampire mistress from "Forbitten Lust," the first installment of the vampire trilogy.
"I think vampires are really sexy," Lee said, "and I've always wanted to play one! Like the first installment, there are a lot of love triangles in the movie, tied together with great sex scenes and enough dialogue to lead the story from one outstanding scene to the next."
"Forbitten Desires" features Miko Lee with Katsuni, the first pairing for these two Asian superstars. Katsuni plays Angelique, Renata's "maker," who seduces Renata into the vampire world.
"One of the major reasons I wanted Katsuni in this role is because she is such a huge fan of vampires and vampire movies." Lee said. "I've always been a huge fan of Katsuni and was honored she took the role."
Katsuni will return for Part Three, shooting in late July. For her part, Katsuni remarks in the behind-the-scenes footage: "I regret leaving my last contract not having the chance to play a vampire."
In the production, Lee and Katsuni perform an energetic three-way scene with Mark Davis, where Renata is turned into an immortal.
The cast of "Forbitten Desires" also features Brandy Aniston, Ash Hollywood, Poppy Morgan, Misti Dawn, Kortney Kane, Shayla LaVeaux, Xander Corvus, Tommy Gunn, Rocco Reed, Michael Vegas, and Jack Lawrence. Raquel Devine is pulling triple duty like she did in "Forbitten Lust" by writing the script, co-directing the movie, and reprising her role as Cassandra.
Both movies feature breathtaking action that was captured by cinematographers Jake Jacobs and Jack Remy, both industry veterans with over 40 years of collective experience. Like the first installment, "Forbitten Lust," the cast is a mix of veteran performers and new faces alike, a deliberate choice for Lee.
"I try to find actors and actresses who haven't shot for a while or who are making a comeback, and mix them with up-and-comers who are new to the industry. In 'Forbitten Lust,' I brought back Faith Leon, who had retired, and I also hired Lexington Steele, who plays a Blade-like character. I know my fans have been wanting to see me do another scene with Lex. Shayla LaVeaux came back and had an outstanding scene with Raquel Devine and Tommy Gunn," Lee said. "We also have Xander Corvus in Ash Hollywood's first boy/girl scene on screen. Both movies have comeback girls that haven't shot in a long time. They see the production value, that it's not low-end, and they're happy to work with me. Some of the girls have even said they will only shoot for my production company."
The first part of the trilogy, "Forbitten Lust," is in post-production now and the third installment will be shot in late July.
