SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon/Raging Stallion Studios have debuted Hunt, a bi-weekly electronic magazine offering fans free content, news and information about the studio.
Toby Morris, the studio’s recently hired marketing director, said it was an idea he had when he started with the company last month. He said Hunt was created as a free replacement to a number of adult men’s magazines that have recently folded.
“All the men’s magazines are gone,” Morris told XBIZ. “We can’t put the content in Hunt in a printed magazine. So we developed something for the porn enthusiast that gives them free content and promotes our various distribution channels.”
Morris said each issue will offer action galleries, a free scene download from a recently released movie and a model spotlight.
Once viewers download the scene, they own the scene, which they can use and watch whenever they want.
“We wanted to give them [porn fans] something special and free,” Morris said.
In addition to information about DVD releases, latest studio news and special offers, Hunt also contains update schedules for the studio’s membership sites FalconStudios.com, RearStable.com and HairyBoyz.com.
Morris said the company is constantly looking for was to broaden its audience by introducing new content-delivery formats.
“The response has been very positive so far,” Morris said.
He added the company is considering making Hunt a weekly offering.
