LOS ANGELES — Director Sam Hain will appear on Friday night's broadcast of “Last Call with Carson Daly” to discuss the release of his newest movie, “Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody," through Revolution X/Digital Sin.
The interview airs on NBC at 1:35 a.m. PST. In the three-minute interview, Hain discusses how he transforms his love of science fiction into bestselling adult movies. Rather than parodying the material, Hain explains that he creates movies true to the cannon of the source material. His two spoofs of TV's "The X-Files" — "The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody" — have been critically acclaimed.
“I am so thankful for the chance to talk about my passion projects on a show the caliber of ‘Last Call,'" Hain said. "I hope my interview introduces even more people to ‘Star Trek: TNG’ and ‘The Sex Files.' They are part of a new evolution of porn — one that must be seen to be believed.”

Digital Sin/New Sensations were honored with the 2011 XBIZ Parody Studio of the Year award. Hain’s appearance on “Last Call" adds to the studio's track record of mainstream recognition and acceptance. Anna Paquin and Alan Ball (star and director of HBO’s “True Blood”) loved “Tru: A XXX Parody” so much, they gifted the movie to their entire cast and crew. Paquin also appeared on “The Lopez Tonight Show” and discussed the parody.
In another instance, the full cast of “Reno 911” hosted a roast for “Reno 911: A XXX Parody” at a comedy club in Los Angeles. And while walking the red carpet, “X-Files” star Gillian Anderson endorsed “The Sex Files." The parodies have also garnered attention from media like ABC News, G4TV and TMZ, as well as comedy site FunnyOrDie.com.
Available now, “Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody” stars April O’Neil (Counselor Troi), Rocco Reed (Cmdr. Riker), Dana DeArmond (Ensign Ro), Kimberly Kane (Dr. Crusher), India Summer (Tasha Yar), Tyler Knight (Geordi La Forge), Bobbi Starr (Dr. Leah Brahms), Xander Corvus (Lt. Cmdr. Data), Lee Bang (Lt.
