XBIZ Chicago Summit’s Social Media Panel to Discuss Traffic-boosting Alternatives

CHICAGO — The 2011 XBIZ Summit will feature a panel of the industry’s notable social media pundits discussing how to harness, filter, and ultimately profit from alternative traffic sources.

The panel titled “Social Marketing: Profiting From Alternative Traffic Sources,” taking place on Friday, June 10 at 1 p.m., will focus on shifting surfing patterns and how the increasing concentration of online visitors at fewer venues such as Facebook and Twitter can be profitable if pursued correctly.

The panel will feature Pete Housley of The Naughty Tweet Network as moderator, with panelists Laura MacEwen from 7Veils, Kelly Shibari from HourGlass8, Sam from MyPornProfile, Joanne Cachapero from the Free Speech Coalition, Christophe Peryas from Streamate and Paige Little from SexyLittlePaige.com.

“Social media is the new frontier in marketing,” Housley said, “it also is the first time that the adult industry has not lead the technological charge in decades. This insightful and diverse panel of real-world social media success will dive right to the meat of the matter — 'how to make money with social media marketing.'”

Taking place at the luxurious Sofitel Water Tower Hotel June 10-12, the Chicago XBIZ Summit 2011 attendees can look forward to an upgraded suite of workshops, technology clinics, enhanced “high-speed” networking sessions and exclusive special events.

For a limited time, registration is free for qualified industry professionals with a promo code that’s granted with the submission of hotel confirmation number to events@xbiz.com.
