HONG KONG — Fufi Lifestyles, manufacturer of the Extase brand of luxury massagers, has tapped Lucom USA to serve as its North American representative.
“Lucom has been selected as our U.S. representative,” said Jon Lin, Fufi’s global sales manager. “Our relationship took root from a major trade shows in U.S. We got to know each more closely before making a decision to partner in a business setting, including conducting physical visits and ongoing online discussions. We trust in Lucom’s experience in its capacity to launch and maintain a luxury product line. We believe in its reputation and experience in the adult toy market.”
Lucom USA CEO Richie Harris and its team of sales and logistics will act as Extase’s official representative of in the North American region, handling all sales, storage, logistics, promotion and media-related work, according to the company.
“Basically acting as a service extension of the Extase head office in Asia, but localized,” Lin said.
With its partnership with Lucom USA, Extase also will operate a local warehouse beginning in July. Lin said future plans for the collaborative team also include improving its services for the North American market.
“We will be doing in-store training and after-sale support,” Lin said. “For us there couldn’t be a better time to launch and we’re looking forward to a splendid 2011 in the U.S. and Canada.”
According to Lin, a range of new Extase designs will debut at the upcoming ANME Founders Show in Burbank, Calif. The Extase line, which was named Best Product Line at the 2011 eroFame Awards, is Fufi’s privately owned brand that is designed and manufactured in-house, Lin told XBIZ.
Lin added that Fufi’s umbrella company was renown for designing and manufacturing electronic products for high-end European companies prior to launching in Asia as a distribution company for adult products. Extase is currently available in Europe, Brazil, Australia, U.S., Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Macau, Singapore, Canada, Japan and South Africa.
The company’s products are currently available through East Coast News and online retailers such as Eden’s Fantasy and Babeland and soon other select distributors, catalogs and chain stores, the company said.
