After-Party Set for XBIZ.net London Gathering

LONDON — The organizers of next week's XBIZ.net London Gathering have revealed details about the official after-party for the event on May 11.

Daniela from iTelebill and Alex from Wister said the post-Gathering party will be held at a Georgian Townhouse at 33 Portland Place, a lavish private club just off Regents Street.

The decadent venue is a carefully restored, period residence that includes ballrooms, a billiard room, a sweeping staircase, 16 bedrooms, two courtyards and several hidden features such as a spacious, basement Jacuzzi and a club room.

Located at 33 Portland Place, the spot has become well known among the London glitterati and is a regular destination for exclusive society parties as well as feature film crews. London Gathering attendees can make their way to the Townhouse starting at 9 p.m.

The house is regularly used as a movie location; it notably was utilized during the filming of the 2010 Oscar-winning Best Film, “The Kings Speech,” and for its porn parody, "The King's Piece." The Georgian Townhouse also was used in the making of the Amy Winehouse music video "Rehab" and has been seen in Agent Provocateur TV ads.

The after-party will feature an open bar — courtesy of sponsors Rampant TV, iTelebill.com, Wister Mobile and The European Summit — and a DJ who will spin until the early morning hours.

"Part of 33 Portland Place is also host to Rampant TV’s studios and we might even be joined by the presenters after their shifts end," Daniela said. "The organizers are looking forward to meeting everyone on Wednesday and promise an exciting day filled with networking opportunities in a chilled out atmosphere. Thanks again to all sponsors for making this day possible!"

The XBIZ.net London Gathering already had more than 100 attendees registered at post time. The evening will kick off with Speed Networking at 5 p.m. at a bar in Central London.
