Metro Launches 2 Download Sites

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adult conglomerate Metro Entertainment has launched two new sites, GoXPod.com and GoXPsP.com, which offer adult movie lovers access to thousands of downloadable titles formatted for Apple’s Video iPod and Sony’s Playstation Portable, respectively, as well as compatible devices.

Corona told XBiz that an affiliate program for both sites is currently in the works.

With more than 1,800 downloads currently available and hundreds of additional titles being added weekly, the sites will comprise one of the largest libraries of iPod and PsP movies available online, according to Metro’s Matt Corona.

The sites will offer content on a pay-per-download basis as well as a monthly membership plan.

“With new technology emerging daily, we want to give the consumer every available option to get the entertainment they want, when they want it,” Corona said.

Individual video downloads are $3.95 each, while monthly memberships, which provide unlimited access to the entire library, are $16.95 per month. Members can download from both sites.

Last month, Metro launched GoFlix.com, a site offering 30,000 adult films that can be ordered online and delivered to a consumer’s mailbox. Memberships rates start at $14.95 per month for two DVDs at a time.
