Schmidt, most recently in the news for helping ex-Playboy Playmate Nicole Narrain market her Collin Farell sex video, is claiming the property was “discovered” in a Los Angeles storage locker. Schmidt reportedly paid less than $3,000 for the locker’s contents when it was initially auctioned off in November.
Calling the stash a “King Tut’s tomb” of Hilton-related items, Schmidt said the diaries alone were worth the auction’s starting price, offering up lengthy recounts of Hilton’s infamous sexual escapades and celebrity encounters, apparently enough to fill 18 diaries.
Earlier this week, Hilton publicist Elliot Mintz admitted that a number of items belonging to the celebrity had been “illegally seized” from the storage locker in question, but would neither confirm nor deny Schmidt’s claims as to the locker’s contents.
Mintz said the items ended up in the locker by accident when Hilton moved in 2004, adding that the “One Night in Paris” sex tape star felt “victimized” by Schmidt’s attempts to sell the contents of the locker.
Schmidt, in turn, has offered to sell the items back to Hilton — for $20 million.
