After serving as CTO and online marketing director for Adam & Eve since 2001, Trotter told XBiz he took stock of his life and felt ready for a change.
“The company has grown in leaps and bounds since I’ve been there,” Trotter said. “I was at the point where my expertise on technical and marketing issues was more on a consultancy basis. The company has been around for so long and is so strong that it practically runs itself.”
Trotter said that among the many things he will miss of his former job are the people, in particular Adam & Eve Vice President David Groves, who Trotter described as “one of the best visionaries and business people he’s ever worked for.”
For the next chapter of his career, Trotter has joined a startup adult company called the Ultimate Entertainment Group, the brainchild of four mainstream businessmen looking to develop an adult version of several popular television shows where people submit tapes of themselves to be judged by their peers, only in this case, having sex.
The tapes, no more than 10 minutes in duration, will be streamed via membership from UltimateSexChampionship.com and will include submissions from straight and gay couples. Trotter said no tapes will be accepted without all the proper legal and age verification compliance paperwork.
Every month the winners will be chosen by site members and at the end of the year, the winners will be invited to compete against each other in the Ultimate Sex Championship for a $100,000 prize.
Memberships to the site range from $24.95 to $19.95, with unlimited access to viewing content submissions and a limited number of votes per month. There is also a teaser membership fee for $5.95, and those who just want to cast a vote without viewing content can do so for $1.
As president of the new company, Trotter will oversee Ultimate Entertainment Group corporate offices in Los Angeles, Maryland and a future location in Florida. He will remain based in North Carolina where Adam & Eve is headquartered.
Trotter told XBiz that UltimateSexChampionship.com has a “go live” date of Feb. 13.
Other company principals for the Ultimate Entertainment Group include Charlie O’Brien, John Vitalo, CEO, Gene Vitalo, CFO and Josh Aaron, who is currently working on a video line called “Just Don’t Fake It,” which will feature real-life, unedited sexcapades between couples.
