The company said that along with it’s new mobile version, KinkCulture.com now includes unlimited user media uploads, hosted blogs, event calendars and forums for consumers looking for new relationships and community building.
"We started KinkCulture in 2007 with a Dutch BDSM master and friend of Wasteland for many years," Wasteland's founder Colin Rowntree said. "Because of this, it has a very interesting international mix of members from both Northern America and Europe."
Rowntree said they felt there was a lack of full-featured, mainstream style dating/community sites out there for the kink and alt-sex community.
“And with the new ways in which social networkers and dating surfers use the web, we decided to bring together all of these now standard mainstream features into a great mix of BDSM community site combined with a kinky dating site," he said.
The company said KinkCulture plans to roll out additional features soon, including Facebook integration and two-way live video chat for use between members.
“We’re looking forward to having KinkCulture be the global destination for all things kinky,” said Andrea Mata, Wasteland’s director of business development. “Our goal is to continue to make our members really feel included in the development of this community.”
