Topco Sales Supports Sexual Wellness With Boston University

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Topco Sales has partnered with Boston University for events that teach students about making the right decisions about their sexual health and wellbeing.

Topco Sales made several in-kind donations for various student functions. Most recently the 69 Collection B4 Play Wipes were sent for the upcoming April event, which is designed to spread awareness about sexually transmitted infections. The University is also holding its annual Wellness Fair on April 6 and Topco Sales donated several hundreds of Fizz lube pillow packs to be handed out as free samples.

Additionally, on March 25, 2010, Topco Sales provided Climax Bursts lube samples to more than 750 students who attended the Student Health Ambassadors Sex on the Beach Event, which was designed to raise awareness about alcohol consumption and its impact on sexual health decisions.

"We are delighted to have Topco Sales provide these types of products to our student body,” said Melissa George, the wellness coordinator at Boston University. “We feel that by giving students free sexual health products we are helping protect them. Many students comment that they don't like to buy these products due to their own personal embarrassment. Unfortunately it is too expensive for us to buy them for our large student population of 40,000. That's why we look to companies like Topco Sales to help us. I am very much appreciative of Desiree for her help with these extremely important initiatives."

"Boston University's approach to sexual wellbeing and education is commendable and we're honored to help. Their proactive approach should be the norm and not the exception on the collegiate level and I hope their programs will set an example for other schools and universities," said Desiree Duffie, director of marketing and public relations for Topco Sales. "It's important for students to learn about the positive side of sex and sex-related products because they shouldn't be embarrassed to purchase them. No one should as long as they are living a healthy, positive and safe, sexual lifestyle. Hopefully our donations will help them develop a healthy attitude about sex and sex-related products."

Topco Sales plans on continuing the partnership with Boston University and will provide more products and samples for future events.
