Company CEO Allan Smith told XBiz initially he didn’t have plans to produce any hardcore titles but after various distributors for the company approached him with the idea, he decided to go for it – as long as the titles adhered to certain 3 Vision standards.
“Our distributors have been asking to see some 3 Vision gonzo, but to do this, [the titles] had to fit to 3 Vision Entertainment standards,” Smith said, adding that 3 Vision was previously only committed to producing two features a year. “Our goal in adding this new avenue to 3 Vision is to … step it up a level. That includes the lighting, the camera angles and the whole production environment.”
Investing time and thought into the titles also means investing more money, Smith added. “But for quality, it’s worth it,” he said.
The company’s next hardcore title “Sex Gallery,” featuring Trina Michaels and Jeremy Steele, hits streets at the end of the month.
Smith told XBiz the movie was shot using black lights and glow-in-the-dark body paint, giving the flick “a futuristic feel.”
“Each talent also did a piece of art that the scenes were integrated with,” Smith added.
Smith said he plans to submit some of the art to erotic art galleries across the U.S., in hopes it will be displayed. He said he also plans to auction off some of the art and donate the proceeds to various causes, such as free speech.
